About Us

WHO WE ARE

Dedicated to strengthening the resilience and wellness of first responders and their families.

Josiah Moore, Founder & Executive Director

Josiah Moore is a 17-year law enforcement veteran, trainer, and advocate for first responder wellness. He began his career in 2005 with the Hugo Police Department and went on to serve with multiple Oklahoma agencies, most recently with the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office. During his career, Josiah specialized in crisis intervention, peer support, and resilience training, serving as a Certified Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) officer and instructor.

His path took a life-altering turn in 2012 when an on-duty crash claimed the life of a fellow deputy. That tragedy, along with years of service on the frontlines, led Josiah through his own struggles with PTSD, substance abuse, and recovery. Drawing from those experiences, he developed a passion for educating and equipping other first responders with tools for resilience and healing.

Today, Josiah combines his lived experience and professional expertise to lead the Frontline Valor Foundation, an organization dedicated to strengthening the mental health and wellness of first responders and their families.

Whitney Moore, LPC-S Board Member

Whitney Moore is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the owner of Therapy Solutions LLC in Owasso, Oklahoma. With years of clinical experience, Whitney specializes in culturally competent therapy for first responders and their families. Her unique expertise comes not only from her professional training but also from her personal life — for over 7 years, she has been married to a law enforcement officer, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges and sacrifices faced by frontline families.

Whitney is passionate about bridging the gap between the clinical world and the responder community. She has worked extensively with trauma, grief, and family systems, ensuring that first responders and their loved ones have access to care that understands their culture, their struggles, and their resilience.

At the Frontline Valor Foundation, Whitney brings both her professional expertise as a counselor and her personal experience as a responder’s spouse to guide programs that focus on healing, family support, and long-term resilience. Her heart is for ensuring that no responder or family feels alone in their journey.
